Hostel Accommodation

Hostel accommodation is located within MFA’s campus where we can accommodate 216 cadets at any one time. It is mandatory for our cadets to be accommodated on campus where they are expected to remain on working days.

There are 108 fully air-conditioned twin sharing rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Single and executive rooms for single occupancy may be requested but are subject to availability and an additional fee.

Our accommodation includes complimentary daily meals served on working days. Cadets are allowed to remain on campus on non-working days but would need to make their own meal arrangements.

Our Fleet

As flight training is a key component of the cadets’ training, our engineers and technicians adhere strictly to regulatory standards for the proper maintenance of our fleet. We operate a fleet of 20 aircrafts comprising the single-engine Piper Warrior and Piper Archer, as well as the twin-engine Piper Seminole.

PA28-161: Piper Warrior

The Piper Warrior is the “baby” of our fleet, weighing in at just 544kg. It is a single engine aircraft with a 160-horsepower engine. It has 4 seats and is certified for single pilot operation. This aircraft is extensively used throughout the world for flight training and personal use.

PA28-181 : Piper Archer

The Piper Archer is a single engine aircraft equipped with 4 seats and a glass cockpit. It is a single engine aircraft with a 180-horsepower engine.

MFA ensures that our fleet is technologically suited for the training needs of our cadets. We periodically review the need to replace and acquire new aircrafts, taking every care to ensure quality and safety are not compromised.

The utilization of simulator training is integrated with the course, and this prepares our cadets for a smooth transition into handling commercial jet aircraft.

PA44-180: Piper Seminole

The Piper Seminole is a twin engine aircraft equipped with a modern glass cockpit. The Piper Seminole has replaced our Piper Seneca fleet. The Piper Seminole is powered by 2 x 180 horsepower engines. The aircraft has 4 seats and is certified for single pilot operation.
