MFA offers CPL/IR conversion training for candidates holding MPL upon CAAM approval.

Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 17 can register for training. Must be 18 years and above upon application for the issue of CPL/IR.

  • Fluent in the English language

  • Completion of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with two (2) Bs and one (1) credit for English, Mathematics and Science subjects. In addition, the applicant should have (2) more credits in other subjects or “O” levels or its equivalent or attained a degree recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) 3.0 or above and has passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent qualifications with credits in English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject.

  • Pass medical examination Class I with a requisite certificate from a CAAM Designated Medical Examiner (applicants are advised to check the CAAM website directly for an up-to-date list of such DME)

  • Letter of Approval from the CAAM.

Ground School Training Requirements:

As per CAAM Letter of Approval.

Flying Phase Training Requirements:

As per the CAAM Letter of Approval and assessment by MFA.
